Lounge Lizard Worldwide, Inc. Awarded Multiple BOLIs at the 2004 BOLI 31 Awards

August 6, 2004 -- Lounge Lizard announced today that the LIAC, a non-profit association of advertising firms which first produced the BOLI advertising competition back in 1973, has named Lounge Lizard the recipient of one BOLI award and two BOLI certificates. The agency won a BOLI in the Educational Internet Website category for its Website on behalf of Nikon USA, Coolpix 101. Nikon is the world leader in precision optics, 35mm and digital imaging technology, recognized for setting new standards in product design and performance in consumer and professional photographic equipment.

The Website is an educational resource for Nikon Coolpix camera users to utilize to learn more about their digital cameras. The site was developed using state-of-the-art Flash technology, and is recognized for its eye-catching design and functionality. The site offers an interactive online experience to the user, allowing them to select from "how to" articles, photography glossary terms, technical information, and photography expert tips and articles.

In addition to its BOLI for the Nikon Coolpix 101 Website, Lounge Lizard was awarded a Gold Certificate for the Internet, Business to Business category for their design of the OAS, Inc. Website. They were also awarded one Bronze Certificate in the Best Website segment category for their design of Nikon Spirit Initiative.    

Internet entries were judged based on overall creative excellence, visual creative design, content, functionality, structure/navigation, and interactivity. Based on the judges' cumulative scores in each category designated finalists will qualify for a BOLI statue or one of the three designated Certificates of Excellence: Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
