The Boyle Group said his company has focused on revamping distressed malls. He said he would be ready in 60 days to announce new tenants to fill the spaces. The back of the mall will be developed into outdoor markets, said Greg Boyle, the chief executive officer of Boyle Group. He said he is encouraging farmers marketers, crafters and artisans to sell their wares on weekends and holidays for an all around home feel.
Boyle said he is making HomeWorks at Jeffersonville an attraction for shoppers. The conversion to HomeWorks makes sense to help a struggling mall with large vacancies, said Lindy White, manager of Amerihost Inn located in Jeffersonville. Amerihost is facing competition from the next exit south on I-71.
HomeWorks at Jeffersonville is actively pursuing twelve different companies that have expressed an interest, Boyle said. He said he feels the Prime Outlets actually will help the center, since the same women who buys brand names items shops for brand name furnishings.
HomeWorks is located on Route 41 and Interstate 71, exit 69. For more information call 740-426-6991 or for leasing information the phone number at The Boyle Group is 800-513-2650.
